There is something really touching about this picture; beyond words; it could be scary (the void attraction, the lonely pair of slippers), but it's just the opposite. Maybe it's the warmth of the colors, I don't know...L

Thanks, that's probably it (I couldn't realize why - though a relatively good composition - it didn't give the feeling I wanted to give in the shot).
I will try some different post-processing on this shot and see if I can convey a different feeling to it.
